vijayawada: Andhraloyola College held a workshop on “Today & Tomorrow for Today & Tomorrow AI Tools” on Tuesday. This session was led by 1M1B AI trainer Bala Naga Sai in collaboration with EY and IBM.
A total of 354 students from MCA and BSC Computer Science participated in the program. This focuses on applying AI tools to real-world challenges. The workshop highlighted responsible use of resources, collaboration with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the broader impact of AI on society, economy and the environment.
Students were introduced to cutting-edge technologies such as Generation AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Large-scale Language Models (LLM). The session also covered the role of AI in shaping future careers and evolving workplaces.
An important feature of the event was the introduction of an AI skill passport developed by 1M1B in collaboration with EY GDS and supported by Microsoft. This initiative allows students to enroll in their learning platforms, fully register their structured modules, and work towards the certification provided by IBM with Microsoft support.
On this occasion, MCA Dean Dr. Mandura highlighted the importance of such initiatives in preparing students for a rapidly changing technical landscape.
