Chennai: Technology law, artificial intelligence and cyber law in relation to data breaches were discussed at a three-day moot court workshop organised by Saveta School of Law from May 29-31. The event saw Gokul Narayan, Chief Operating Officer, Asian Cyber ​​Law School, Pune, as the Principal Resource Person. He presented a comprehensive and engaging analysis of the moot court issues, weaving theoretical, logical and practical discussions into his presentation. On the second day, he analysed cyber law, covering basic concepts, current legal framework and emerging trends. He touched upon various aspects of cyber law including privacy issues, cyber crimes and legal implications of digital interactions. Case analysis focused on the application of cyber law in real-world scenarios, laying out legal challenges and solutions in cases involving data breaches, cyber frauds and privacy concerns. Gokul also interpreted various sections of the Indian Penal Code and IT Act 2000, providing a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape. The third day explored the role of artificial intelligence in legal practice and explained how AI can be leveraged to streamline legal research, automate routine tasks, and enhance decision-making processes. Gokul provided practical tips for integrating AI into legal practice, including the use of AI-powered legal research platforms, predictive analytics for case outcomes, and automated compliance monitoring systems.
