Pasir Gudang: The use of artificial intelligence (AI) by the MYFutureJobs platform aims to improve the accuracy of job matching, says Datuk Seri R. Ramanan (pictured).
The Minister of Human Resources said this measure has created a more mature labor market ecosystem to ensure that all jobs created not only meet market demand, but also offer higher wages and match the qualifications of job seekers.
“There is no point in creating employment opportunities that are not decent, poorly paid and not suitable for job seekers. That is why we have MYFutureJobs. Over 300,000 job applications have been recorded, 200,000 have been successfully matched and over 100,000 jobs are still available on the platform,” he told reporters at Sri Maha Mariamman Temple here yesterday.
Ramanan said MYFutureJobs uses AI to generate jobs based on applicants’ qualifications.
MYFutureJobs currently averages 7.5 million visits per month, connecting 3 million job seekers with more than 100,000 employers nationwide.
The Social Security Organization (PERKESO) announced in February that its employment strategy through MYFutureJobs led to a 28% increase in high-skilled jobs in specialized industries last year.
Perqueso said the surge increased from 23,638 job openings in 2024 to 32,887 job openings in 2025.
Pakatan Harapan on Friday released the Johor state election manifesto with the theme “Johor for All”, outlining 10 key commitments including health, housing, entrepreneurship, education, agriculture, transport and employment.
The pledge also includes a goal to create 250,000 good-paying jobs in Johor through the development of modern, high-value industries.
This target will be achieved by creating 50,000 jobs a year, along with efforts to increase Johor’s median wage by at least 30%, Bernama reported.
