State Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday set up a committee to consider whether artificial intelligence and its tools can be taught in schools and to introduce a curriculum that includes these subjects in school education. He called on the committee to explore ways to help students compete in the new world by learning and adapting these tools from an early age.

The state government is also proposing an arrangement with ETS (Educational Testing Service) to improve English speaking skills and help public school students prepare for the TOEFL exam.
