AI For Business

“Automate evidence analysis, create court-ready briefs and complex time-sensitive court applications, and transform the way law enforcement, regulators, and the public sector conduct investigations.”

Building Communities at the Telstra Best of Business Awards went to Social Protect, which detects and removes abusive social media comments in real time.

The startup, founded in 2021 by former Crime Stoppers International CEO Shane Brittain, also offers on-demand education and expert investigative support for users to participate in conversations on social media.

In a post on LinkedIn, Brittain sent a special shout out to Football Queensland. They believed in the startup early on and have remained a loyal and proud partner ever since.

“With our footprint expanding across Australia, the US and Europe, we will continue to serve our clients and partners with the same diligence and energy with which we started,” he said. “For organizations and individuals reading this who are dealing with online abuse, there is a solution. It takes less than a minute to install the app and connect your social media accounts.”

According to Telstra, “The judging panel praised Social Protect for tackling cyberbullying and online harassment head-on and designing a product that has a real impact on society.”
