Building Communities at the Telstra Best of Business Awards went to Social Protect, which detects and removes abusive social media comments in real time.
The startup, founded in 2021 by former Crime Stoppers International CEO Shane Brittain, also offers on-demand education and expert investigative support for users to participate in conversations on social media.
In a post on LinkedIn, Brittain sent a special shout out to Football Queensland. They believed in the startup early on and have remained a loyal and proud partner ever since.
