AI surges among top business risk concerns, while cybersecurity holds steady

While cybersecurity remained the top risk concern among business leaders for the fifth year in a row, AI has moved into second place. According to a report released Wednesday From Allianz Commercial.

As more companies look to scale their AI deployments, they will face challenges such as system reliability, data quality constraints, integration hurdles, and a lack of qualified talent, Sablan added.

This report is based on a survey of more than 3,300 risk management professionals from 97 countries.

Particularly in the United States, cybersecurity remains at the top of the list of risk concerns, followed by business interruption and changes in laws and regulations. AI risk became the fourth biggest concern in the country, up from sixth place a year ago.
