Atlanta — The race for the best artificial intelligence is well underway. But is it too much or too fast?

Open AI’s ChatGPT hits 1 million users in just 5 days after launching in November 2022. For reference, it took Facebook 10 months to reach the same number. ChatGPT is an advanced chatbot that provides real-time answers.
“AI is really a history of doing a task that only humans can do today, designing agents that can do it, and understanding a little bit about what that task entails,” says Joyner. .
Whether it’s dinner ideas or gift suggestions, math equation solving, or conversations with chatbots, some think this could be the next big search engine.
Joyner said not yet.

“Four years ago, we started talking about the impact of artificial intelligence,” says Mostagimi.
This readiness will enable Georgia’s largest school district to adopt AI and incorporate it into daily lessons while teaching the basics.
“Teachers seem to take general math and science classes and then integrate some of the technology and ethical implications into their regular classes,” Mostagimi said.

“At Gwinnett, we have really communicated that our basic academic injustices and principles are still valid. If you are building something with ChatGPT or any other tool, source it As such, you will be responsible for whether the source is trustworthy,” said Mostagimi.
Other school districts responded to questions about AI in the classroom via email.
“Fulton County Schools (FCS) has seen examples of students and staff using ChatGPT and AI. I’m looking for appropriate uses for new technologies such as: I expect my students to create original work with whatever tools they use, and I want them to learn the basics of research and writing. “The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) has blocked the use of ChatGPT on student devices and over the district’s Wi-Fi network. We are studying this and other artificial intelligence applications to determine how to integrate them.” A DeKalb County School spokesperson said:
Atlanta Public Schools also sent the following statement: “Atlanta Public Schools has no plans to ban this platform. However, APS takes academic integrity and plagiarism seriously and will take appropriate action if this becomes an issue.”
