Last week, the U.S. National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) issued a “policy to help ensure that artificial intelligence (AI) systems perform as they claim, do no harm, and can be trusted by businesses, governments, and the general public. We have launched a survey asking for comments on what is Assistant Secretary of Commerce and NTIA Administrator Alan Davidson .
Alongside him was the NTIA Senior Advisor on Algorithmic Justice Ellen P. Goodman, said the goal is to create policies that ensure safe and fair applications of AI that are transparent, respectful of citizenship and human rights, and compatible with democracy.
