Air India plane crash fall: The 17-year-old unconsciously filmed a virus video of the catastrophic Air India AI 171 plane crash on Thursday, and doesn't want to live in the area anymore. The Aryan said he was completely unaware that he could soon turn into a “ball of fire” by simply filming the plane with his cell phone near the house he rented. His statement was recorded by police.
The London-bound Air India plane, AI-171, collided with 242 passengers and crew at BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, minutes after taking off from the airport on Thursday. 270 people lost their lives in the crash.
The first video of the tragic incident was filmed by Arya, a resident of the area. His video gave one of the immediate perspectives of the tragedy.
Recounting the horrifying moment, the Aryan said the plane crashed within 24 seconds of the recording. “I found it very scary. My sister was the first to see the video. I feel very scary because of what I saw,” the teenager said, according to news agency PTI.
His sister said, “Aryan showed me a video and told me he didn't want to live here because it was dangerous. He's very scary. The landlady of an Aryan rental accommodation near the airport also spoke about Aryan's pain. “When I came after the incident, I realized that he couldn't speak. I assured him… he remained awake all night. He was quiet and he didn't eat anything,” she told the news agency.
He issued a statement to police, PTI reported. The Ahmedabad Crime Division said that Ahryan statements have been recorded. Police issued a brief statement as the initial confusion was that police had taken him into custody. However, police said, “No one has been arrested for making this video. A screen recording of a mobile video has been spreading through word of mouth. The minor who took the video gave the police details about the video. He was then sent along with his father. There have been no arrests or detention,” police said.
