Updates to Agora's Convo AI Device Kit allow developers to deploy real-world connected AI devices to the market.

The upgraded kit introduces native 4G connectivity, enhanced multimodal interaction, cameras with visual intelligence, and rapid prototyping capabilities, allowing developers to bring globally connected AI “smart hardware” devices to the marketplace more easily than ever before.

Time to the market is another major upgrade. The updated Device Kit (R1-4G) allows developers to create work demonstrations for LLM-based AI devices in an hour, create production-ready prototypes in one day, and accelerate their journey from ideas to mass production.

  • Dynamic eye with flexible display – Real-time expressive eye feedback synchronized with voice supports both dual-screen and single-screen device designs.
  • Wide range of AI and chip compatibility – Operates a wide range of ASR, TTS, and LLM providers, Wi-Fi, Cat.1, and ISP chipsets for flexible deployment.
  • Multi-sensor suite – Integrated G-sensors, NFCs and vibration motors allow for more intuitive and attractive device interactions.
