This workshop focused on helping specialized teams use AI tools to analyze future challenges and develop innovative solutions that can later be turned into practical projects.

Participants worked through a 90-day operating model designed to improve planning, forecasting, and problem-solving capabilities within organizations.

Colonel Obaid Abdullah Al Rumaithi, Director of the Strategic Futures Department, said this initiative supports Abu Dhabi Police’s broader vision of integrating AI into strategic operations to improve efficiency, flexibility and organizational performance.

The workshop brought together several specialized teams from across Abu Dhabi Police, including members of the Future Readiness Projects Network, technical teams supporting AI initiatives, and the Strategy and Institutional Development Department.

Discussions also explored how AI can be used to analyze risk, design solutions, and build prototype models to support smart policing and future operational readiness.
