SALT LAKE CITY — About 10,000 people will attend the X4 Tech Summit on Wednesday at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
Technology company Qualtrics will host the event through Friday.
“We're very excited about this year's lineup,” said Mani Pandher, head of global brand at Qualtrics. “We'll have Michelle Obama, Lindsey Vonn, Dwyane Wade, executives from Fortune 500 companies, as well as people from Delta Air Lines and American Express.”
Some of the biggest names in sports, travel and politics come to Utah. Former first lady Michelle Obama will participate in a moderated conversation on Thursday. Wade talks about developing a championship mindset. Vonn will discuss overcoming adversity.
“The aim is to talk to all the people from different sides, different industries and professions,” Pander said.
Qualtrics, a Utah-born software company, hosts a three-day technology summit every year.
“We host X4 here every year. It brings a lot of energy, both to the city and all the businesses around it,” Pander said.
experience management
X stands for Experience Management.
“When you think of our keynote speakers, they bring an edge to the conversation: experience with customers, experience with employees, experience with people, how they do business,” Pander said. Ta. “Experience management is about taking every touchpoint in your business seriously, whether it's with your customers or with your employees, to ensure that every aspect of your business delivers results.
The conference is expected to attract participants from more than 40 countries. Not all of them work in technology.
“X4 is actually meant to be delivered by people in all kinds of industries, from healthcare to financial services,” Pander said.
This year's session will focus on artificial intelligence.
“We're going to have a big focus on the power of AI and how we can leverage it to really shape business and make it more human,” Pander said.
According to the company's website, Qualtrics customers use the platform's AI technology to identify how to find and solve problems within their businesses, retain top talent in-house, and launch successful services and products. They say they are identifying ways to raise the level.
“The objective is to really learn from your peers, have thought leadership, and share cutting-edge innovation,” Pander said.
The Backstreet Boys are scheduled to perform at the end of the summit on Friday afternoon.
Qualtrics plans to hold X4 again in London in June and Sydney, Australia in July.
