Vilnius base SintraThe AI startup today announced a 14.9 million euro seed round, doubling its mission to empower small and medium-sized businesses to use AI helpers. This funding will also help expand our product and engineering team.
The round was led by Early Bird VC, with participation from Inobo, practical capital and well-known angel investors.
“What small business owners need is not just a software product, but an assistant providing real help and needs to feel natural and intuitive” I said Chris Sidrauskaco-founder and CEO of Sintra. “We are building AI teammates that help people turn their work into performances.”
Founded in 2023 by Chris Sidrauska, Locas Judicus and Vasalis Caveccus, Sintra builds small business employees to market, sell, strategy, recruit and recruit.Everything in between“.
Sintra has grown from a weekend project to an 10.5 million euro ARR business serving more than 40,000 paying customers worldwide in over 100 countries.
The company's platform provides small business owner AI-driven helpers that can handle core tasks such as social media, customer support and administrative tasks by integrating directly with tools such as Facebook, Gmail, and Google Calendar.
The Sintra story began in 2018 at the Vilnius garage. There, teenage friends Sidlauskas and Judickas ran a small marketing agency and put their business into practice while helping local entrepreneurs. A few years later, Sidlauskas launched a concept-based AI tool inspired by the ChatGpt prompt. They reunited the original team, including designer Rokas and developer Kaveckas, rebuilt around 12 AI teammates tailored to SMB. Sintra 2.0 was released on May 15, 2024 and has been growing rapidly, reaching 877K Arr in just 57 days.
“Sintra builds the most intense AI product team from Lithuania” I said Andre LabelsGeneral Partner of Earlybird. “They are tapping into a market that is not receiving large-scale service with relentless product execution and clear vision. ”
SMEs account for 44% of global GDP, but over 45 million people still operate without the right digital infrastructure, according to Sintra. Most people rely on spreadsheets, legacy software, or consumer apps that are inappropriate for their business needs.
Sintra says, “We aim to change that.AI business in the box” – A platform that small business owners can install on their teams of AI helpers in minutes rather than months.
Each helper is powered by Brain AI, a secure, horizontally shared intelligence layer that learns the unique context of your business over time. From responding to messages to helping you generate and operate marketing content, Sintra helpers are designed to act like a teammate, not just a tool.
Sintra is currently available via iOS and the web, with prices starting at $39 per month.
“When I first saw Sintra two months after the commercial launch, I thought it was another AI agent with traction from the charts. Spending a day with the team at Vilnius was fun. On this day we wanted to invest. The Silicon Valley vibe and strength in Vilnius' understated apartment felt magical.” I said Mikal LocosInobo's partner. “If you're a young talented person who's willing to work hard and build something you're proud of, I don't think there's a good place to work in our area.”
For the Sintra team, this mission is personal. It is to show that global impact can begin in the garage of Vilnius. It is about building something that continues not only for today, but for future generations.
