Mumbai: Indian Classification Society (IRS) and DMET Meri – Former Cadets Association successfully holds joint technical seminar “Digitalization and AI Utilization to Improve Ship Efficiency” It will be held at the IRS Head Office in Mumbai on 16 July 2024. The event brought together maritime experts, industry leaders and technology professionals to explore the transformative impact of digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the maritime sector.

The seminar featured insightful presentations and discussions on various aspects of digitalization and AI, focusing on their potential to increase efficiency, safety and sustainability. Presenters covered a wide range of topics, including informed decision-making through digital modeling and AI, embracing digitalization for transformation, and augmented reality solutions for collaborative design, construction and training.

The event provided a valuable platform for networking, knowledge exchange and collaboration between maritime professionals and technology enthusiasts.
