According to court documents, Justin was stopped by officers from the Sag Harbor Village Police Department in the Hamptons, New York, around 12:30 p.m. on June 18 and arrested for allegedly running a stop sign and drifting out of his lane while driving a 2025 BMW X7.

“He had bloodshot and hollow eyes, a strong odor of alcoholic beverages on his breath, difficulty dividing his attention, slowed speech, unsteady gait and performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests,” court documents state.

“This is going to ruin the tour,” the star reportedly tweeted.

A New York police officer was too young to recognize Timberlake and asked him, “What tour?” to which he simply replied, “World tour.”

According to documents, the so-called “Prince of Pop” told officers he had had a martini and was following some friends home. After being arrested and taken to the East Hampton police station, he refused a breath test, court documents state, and his occupation is listed as “professional” and “self-employed.”

The 10-time Grammy Award winner was arraigned in Sag Harbor and released without bail that afternoon. He was charged with a misdemeanor count of drunk driving and is scheduled to appear in court on July 26, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.

A bartender at the hotel confirmed to People magazine that the singer had only had one drink before his arrest.
