A survey conducted by Morning Consult in partnership with Canva has revealed how many companies are using AI for visual content. Despite the widespread use of AI in the workplace, there are still some concerns facing executives. A new survey of 3,707 business leaders reveals that 4 in 5 companies are using AI for creating visual content. Although these companies are using AI for content, they are concerned that they may face a range of issues. 70% of business leaders are concerned about “accidentally sharing confidential information,” and the same number of leaders are also concerned about plagiarism/copyright infringement regarding AI-created content. 68% are concerned that people will confuse AI-generated content with human-created content. And 64% are concerned that the increased use of AI for visual content could result in job losses.

Many design and editing tools like Canva, Figma, Adobe, etc. have implemented AI features. This is why many companies are using AI to create visual content. Klarna CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski (in a deleted post on X) said that creating visual content with the help of AI could save $10 million in marketing this year. One thing to know is that it's not just marketing that needs to generate visual content; sales leaders also use it in their presentations and proposals.
46% of business leaders surveyed said their PR team uses AI to create communications materials, and 96% say they use AI to train employees. As businesses are interested in using AI, Canva has introduced a package called Canva Enterprise that includes all tools and AI features in one subscription. Canva says that its Magic Media Tool has helped users generate over 1.4 billion images.
