Alia Bhatt's fans are shocked and concerned after a new deepfake video of her has gone viral. In the AI-generated video, Alia appears to be taking part in the Get Ready With Me (GRWM) trend. Posted on Instagram by user Sameeksha Avtlu, the video has already garnered over 17 million views.
“All videos are created with AI and for entertainment purposes only,” an Instagram user wrote in their profile.

However, shortly after the deepfake video went viral, Alia Bhatt's fans expressed their concerns over the use of AI, with one writing, “AI is becoming more dangerous by the day,” while another said, “I feel sorry for those who think it's real,” and a third user commented, “AI is getting scary.”
This is not the first time a deepfake video of Alia has gone viral on social media – in May this year, a video of Alia's face was leaked online in which her face was morphed into that of actress Wamiqa Gabi.
On May 7, Alia Bhatt dazzled Met Gala attendees in New York City in a Sabyasachi sari. Meanwhile, another video of the actor, this time in a red sari, has been garnering attention on social media. Shared by Instagram account Unifixface, the video shows Bhatt posing for what appears to be a photoshoot.
India Today Fact Check confirmed that the video is a deepfake – Alia Bhatt's face has been digitally added onto a video of actress Wamiqa Gabbi.
