According to Doug Schmitt (pictured left), president of Dell Technologies Services, key to this transformation is developing a strong AI infrastructure and a skilled workforce that can handle the complexities of deploying and managing AI.

“AI is obviously something that everyone is interested in, and when you look at the value that Dell brings to our broader portfolio and then working with all of our customers during my time at Dell and seeing what AI can deliver, it's hard not to get excited about the possibilities,” he said. “As part of the services organization, we're excited to help our customers achieve their goals.”

Dell Comprehensive AI Infrastructure Solutions for Multiple Industries

As businesses increasingly adopt AI, the focus is shifting to implementing strategies to maximize its benefits. Dell Technologies is at the forefront of this revolution, offering a comprehensive range of services to help customers adopt AI, Schmitt noted.

“It's really a journey to help our customers realize the value they want from AI. You can break it down into three parts,” he says. “The first is helping our customers with their strategy and use cases. That's a key part, because if you don't get that right, it's going to be pretty hard to get to the second of the three, which is infrastructure, deployment, and, as you said, modeling. The reason I mention this is because the third is the skillset.”

Dell's AI Factory is a crucial component of this framework, designed to accelerate customers' transformation by offering an ecosystem of services, Schmidt concluded.

“We can help you wherever you want at any stage in your journey,” he said. “And we can also be with you and help you manage the modeling and then help you execute it at the end. Plus, if you need training, the education side is where we're really good at.”

AI integration is not limited to standalone applications; it permeates different areas of the enterprise to enhance multi-cloud environments, data resiliency, security and the modern workforce. AI components are seamlessly embedded across Dell's portfolio, demonstrating how AI is reshaping traditional business operations and enabling new levels of efficiency and innovation, Bils explained.

“Now, of course, we have AI. We have multicloud. We have applications and data, resiliency and security, and the modern workforce. As you say, AI is not a standalone thing,” he said. “We're seeing AI components across our portfolio, across multicloud, across resiliency and security. It's touching everything. So when you think about our portfolio of services around professional services, consulting, managed, education services, residencies, it's all touched by AI, but also other transformational areas.”
