The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has shared a video of Buddhadeb Bhattacharya generated using artificial intelligence (AI). In this video, the ailing former West Bengal chief minister urges voters to vote for the Left and secular forces in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
In the video, titled 'e bhabeo fire asha jai (I can give back this way too)', Bhattacharya's AI avatar talks about a wide range of issues from Sandeshhari to unemployment and corruption allegations in West Bengal, and the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC). attacked. Allegations of sexual harassment and land grabbing against ruling TMC leaders in North 24 Parganas district have become a major poll issue in West Bengal. The video also targets the BJP-ruled central government over demonetisation, electoral bonds and inflation.
“Hello, how are you all? In this difficult situation in the country and the world, it is very difficult for us to stay in good shape. What is happening in West Bengal? Trinamool in Sandeshkari There is no excuse for the misdeeds committed by the people. There is no employment in this state. Hundreds of children would be employed. Meanwhile, the insurgent Bharatiya Janata Party was in power. The corrupt Bharatiya Janata Party…” said the AI avatar of 80-year-old Bhattacharya.
The video attacks the Bharatiya Janata Party and says, “Demonetisation, corporates are happy. Now, corruption like electoral bonds… Prices of essential goods are soaring. The economy is in chaos.'' BJP And the RSS is spreading communal hatred every day.Remember the growth of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Bengal during the Trinamool era.Who is Narendra Modi?Who is this Mamata Banerjee? CPI(M) leader and editor of its mouthpiece Ganashakti, Samik Lahiri, told The Indian Express: Six constituencies in West Bengal are voting for the first two terms of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, while the remaining 36 constituencies are voting for the next five terms starting from the third term on May 7. A vote is planned.
A senior CPI(M) leader said, “Our supporters and comrades have made this AI video. Usually, lakhs of rupees are spent on making such videos, but our comrades We all worked without pay, so our expenses were minimal.”
Mr Bhattacharya, who was chief minister of Bengal from November 2000 to May 2011, lives in a small two-room government flat in south Kolkata's Ballygunj district. He has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and has hardly left his home in recent years. He was last seen outdoors in 2019, when he went to a CPI(M) rally but was unable to attend due to a dust allergy and returned home.
