LEXINGTON, Kentucky — Guidelines and recommendations for the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in research have been updated for the University of Kentucky campus.

The multidisciplinary UK ADVANCE (Advancing the Use of Data for Value in Academics for National and Campus-wide Excellence) team exists to define and develop recommendations for the responsible use of generative AI in the UK. Masu. The team provides ongoing guidance to the campus community in achieving the University's mission of advancing Kentucky through education, research, service, and care.

Earlier this semester, the team updated faculty guidelines for generative AI in educational settings. His ADVANCE team in the UK has also developed guidelines for the use of generative AI in clinical practice.
