SMEs interimly deploying generative AI to drive business growth

A GoDaddy survey found that while the majority of small businesses believe generative AI has huge potential, many are hesitant to fully deploy it without support. However, some early adopters started using it to make certain tasks easier, allowing them to focus on managing their business.

SMB needs generative AI guidance

The GoDaddy survey was conducted in late April 2023 and surveyed 1,003 small businesses in the United States. The research reveals that small businesses need guidance on how to make the most of rapidly evolving AI technologies. 38% said they have tried generative AI tools, 27% did it for fun and 11% did it to support their business, but the majority (62%) have yet to try it.
