Audio solution provider Jabra has teamed up with Microsoft to bring new artificial intelligence capabilities to the PanaCast 50 and PanaCast 50 Room System.
The PanaCast 50 Video Bar features Microsoft’s IntelliFrame solution with multiple video streams and facial and voice recognition capabilities. This gives in-room participants a dedicated camera view and remote participants a more comprehensive experience.
PanaCast 50’s AI capabilities will allow in-room participants using the device to be identified in Microsoft Teams meeting recordings. Albert Kooiman, senior director of his Microsoft Teams Device Partner Engineering and Certification at Microsoft, said: “Microsoft Teams leverages the power of AI to create unique user experiences before and after Teams meetings, enhancing employee engagement and fostering natural collaboration.” We have worked closely together to make this device a key component for leveraging AI-powered capabilities for individuals, teams and businesses.”
The PanaCast 50 video bar system will be available in a phased approach and will be generally available from September 1, 2023. Updates to PanaCast 50 will be available in Summer/Fall 2023.
