Brad Smith: The race to capitalize on the AI hype is heating up. AMD has released details about its new AI chip. The analyst believes and expects he will be in direct competition with NVIDIA here. I’ve read some of the releases they put out and some of the early reviews that came out. It looks like some of the chips will actually be sold to enterprise customers, enterprise laptops and PCs.
Given how weak the PC market has been, we’ll see what that means in terms of future demand. So you may be looking at a multi-year strategy. However, some of the advancements mentioned here are how video camera calls, video conference calls, or framing video conference calls improve. That’s what I meant.
How it improves the framing there. We tested how battery life improves with long talks of 2 hours or more. Apparently, some Microsoft Teams calls are also supported.
