ThoughtSpot Bootcamps will run for four consecutive Saturdays starting October 14thth and ends on November 4thth Bootcamps are held every Saturday from 11:00 PM to 3:00 PM PT and, if accepted, high school students must commit to attend all four sessions.

AI has been covered as a relevant topic in many news sources, so students can learn what artificial intelligence is, what it isn’t, where they are already interacting with AI in their lives, and what TikTok recommends. Learn about the ethical implications of AI systems including (but not limited to) , smart homes, and more. Assistants, facial recognition, self-driving cars, to name a few. Participants also learned how large-scale language models like ChatGPT could help us live life as we know it by answering questions, telling our own stories, and writing computer code. You will also learn about what is changing.
Students will benefit from volunteer corporate mentor instructors who are well versed in AI, ML and data science and can help students quickly understand what is typically taught at the college level. As part of a four-hour curriculum, students will use open source tools each day to build their own AI applications related to computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI.
The Mark Cuban Foundation provides boot camp curriculum materials, trains corporate volunteer mentors, and recruits and scores applications for local students selected to attend the camp. Founded by Mark Cuban in 2019, the AI Bootcamp Initiative has hosted free AI bootcamps for students in several US cities, including Dallas, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Detroit, and Atlantic City. To date, the Mark Cuban Foundation has inspired more than 900 students, with the goal of increasing that number each year.
