Actor and blogger Shennaz Treasury posted on Instagram, powered by AI Nosh Robot Thursday. In the clip, she is seen showing a container of food cooked by an AI robot. “Food-cooking robots are now entering Indian kitchens,” she says.
She details how the robot works. There is a slot to add ingredients and the Mobile Her app will show you where to add ingredients. She is seen choosing a pesto paneer and the man next to her says she will get a notification on her cell phone when the dish is ready. She is surprised when he tells her that she can also order food from another room. The Ministry of Finance was also seen eating pesto paneer cooked by an AI robot. She cheekily says: “A robot cooking ga ka kana might taste better than your mother’s ka kana.”
“Robots and AI are making their way into the Indian kitchen. Is this unbelievable or scary? I came up with this idea when I couldn’t find someone to cook guju food for me, so he invented this robot 🤖 Will robots take all our jobs? Leave a comment with your heart ❤️ so we can find more stories 😉 #robotcook #aicooks #aifood #noshrobot this is called Nosh Robot 🤖 Look at him 👀 Look at him ;” The Treasury Department captioned the clip.
But Instagram users disagreed with Treasury Department claims that AI robots are better cooks than their mothers. A user commented, “Better than Mammy Ka Khana??” Are you really like brothers? Ahh, no big deal. Another user wrote, “You lost me to ‘Better Than Mom’.” A third user commented, “You also have to add ingredients, chop and marinate the stir-fry, and add at intervals…no, thanks.”
I called the Nosh robotics team and they said the product is not yet on the market. The company is taking pre-orders and people are starting to use the product on a trial basis. The price of the AI robot is 50,000 rupees.
