Machine learning may identify recurrence risk of RCC

In this video Brad McGregor,medical doctorclinical director of the Genitourinary Cancer Rank Center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, discussed data on adjuvant renal cell carcinoma presented at the AUA Annual Meeting.

McGregor highlighted research from the UroCCR network in France, which used machine learning to develop an algorithm that could identify patients at highest risk of recurrence.

“This is early data overall, but we will need novel approaches like this to know who is at risk of recurrence and whether adjunctive therapy can really improve treatment.” said McGregor.
