IPE Hyderabad hosts AI and machine learning program for CPSE, SLPE executives

IPE Hyderabad: A five-day residency program aims to equip public sector leaders with AI and machine learning skills to drive digital transformation.

The Institute of Public Enterprises (IPE), Hyderabad will be organizing a 5-day residential Management Development Program (MDP) on ‘Unlocking Competitive Advantage: Leveraging Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) and State Level Public Enterprises (SLPEs)’ from July 20 to 24, 2026 at Hotel Marigold, Begumpet, Hyderabad.

According to an IPE press release, the program is sponsored by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), Ministry of Finance, Government of India. The five-day MDP is designed to help public sector executives understand the growing role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in improving organizational performance.

The program is designed for senior executives, board-level executives, and operational heads (grades E0 to E9) of CPSEs and SLPEs across the country.

Training focused on digital transformation powered by AI

IPE said this initiative builds on the success of previous AI and ML training programs and is in line with India’s efforts to prepare public sector leadership for digital transformation.

The institute said, “This initiative builds on the success of IPE’s earlier programs and reflects India’s commitment to preparing public sector leadership for digital transformation. It also resonates with the global perspective highlighted in the McKinsey and Gartner report, ensuring participants are prepared to compete in a global environment.”

The inaugural session will be attended by Mr. B. Prasada Rao, former Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of BHEL, as the chief guest. IPE Senior Professor and Director S Sreenivasa Murthy will also address the participants.
