Google is rolling out Google Photos Video Remix, a new AI-powered editing feature for Google Photos that transforms videos using ready-made templates and generated effects.
Powered by Gemini Omni, Google’s multimodal AI model, the feature is designed to help users create stylized video clips without professional editing skills or dedicated video software.
Google Photos[作成]Video Remix, available from the tab, allows you to apply effects such as cinematic relighting, background changes, and artistic styles such as watercolor, raw sketchbook, and oil painting.
Google says users can, for example, make videos look like they were shot in a greenhouse, add sunrises to dark clips, or turn footage into watercolor-style animations.
This announcement is part of Google’s broader efforts to integrate generative AI across its consumer products. With Google Photos, the company also introduced AI-powered editing tools and the ability to generate outfit ideas from clothing photos.
Video Remix is rolling out to eligible Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers in select countries, including the United States, Argentina, Brazil, India, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, and Turkiye.
