CHICAGO — In this video, mitchell single stock, Doctor of Medicine, We discuss the results of a retrospective study that evaluated genomic testing rates for prostate cancer and whether AI models can improve risk stratification and test eligibility.
The model was shown to have 100% accuracy in recommending germline and somatic testing for this malignancy as recommended by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network in 2025, according to research presented at the ASCO Annual Meeting.
“Our next step is to integrate this with our electronic health record system. This will allow us to automatically identify men who need to be tested and refer them to the appropriate genetic test, improving access to life-changing drugs like PARP inhibitors, as well as identifying germline mutations such as: BRCA It can affect families,” Singstock, a University of Utah internal medicine resident, told Healio.
