AnyMind establishes AI lab in Hangzhou

Applications of AI

AnyMind Group, a Singapore-founded business process-as-a-service (BPaaS) company for marketing, e-commerce, and digital transformation, announced Tuesday that it will establish AnyAI Lab in Hangzhou, China.

The company said in a statement that the new hub will serve as a center of excellence to drive the development of AI agents and their applications across the company’s businesses and products.

By combining data accumulated through the company’s operations and platforms across 15 markets with Hangzhou’s advanced AI development environment, the hub will further accelerate the company’s ongoing AI-native transformation.

Additionally, these features will be progressively implemented across AnyMind Group’s suite of platforms.

The company also plans to start recruiting AI engineers and AI product development talent globally.

In recent years, business applications of AI have been attracting attention as they expand to include workflow and business automation.

Against this backdrop, Hangzhou is strengthening its global presence as a city that attracts advanced AI talent and development communities in fields such as AI applications and robotics, including being designated as one of China’s national new-generation artificial intelligence innovation development pilot zones.

The city is home to thousands of digital and AI-related companies and continues to rank among China’s leading cities in net inflow of advanced information technology (IT) talent.

Hangzhou has also developed an ecosystem that can quickly deploy and apply cutting-edge AI technology and research results to real services and businesses.

Implementation and utilization are also actively progressing in the field of autonomous AI agents.

AnyMind said it decided to establish the hub in Hangzhou based on the view that early access to this AI development and implementation environment, cutting-edge AI technology insights and development expertise will be integrated into its products and business operations, contributing to strengthening the company’s competitiveness in the medium to long term.

AnyAI Lab promotes the development of solutions based on the data/AI utilization platform “AnyAI”.

Apply autonomous AI agent development across business domains. Accelerate development of the AnyAI offering suite. Strengthen company-wide operations for AI-native transformation.

AnyAI Lab will advance the application development of AI agents, a rapidly expanding and evolving field.

This includes designing systems where multiple AI agents work together to support and automate workflows, improving AI capabilities such as memory, inference, and leveraging external tools, and designing and implementing AI-powered workflows.

The lab will also drive the implementation and operation of these technologies in real-world business operations.

Meanwhile, insights and development results from AnyAI Lab will be gradually integrated into the company’s various AnyAI solutions.

By leveraging business data and feedback from its operations across 15 markets in Asia, the company will evolve its AI capabilities in close alignment with real-world workflows and customer needs.

AnyAI Lab also serves as a core capability for AI-native transformation business operations across AnyMind.

The company is already promoting the use of AI globally across business areas such as sales and planning, and plans to further improve its operations by utilizing AI agents in the future.

AnyAI Lab’s key strength lies in its ability to directly connect AnyMind Group’s business infrastructure across Asia Pacific (APAC) and the Middle East with Hangzhou’s AI implementation environment.

AnyMind Group maintains daily commerce flow and consumer touchpoint data across marketing, e-commerce, live commerce, and more.

By combining this first-party data with Hangzhou’s AI implementation environment, the company will move beyond proof-of-concept efforts and drive a cycle of developing, operating, and improving AI agents that will lead to actual business operations.

“As AI technology continues to evolve, business competitiveness is shifting to how effectively AI can be implemented into real-world businesses and operations.

“At AnyMind Group, we don’t think of AI as just a tool to improve operational efficiency. We believe that AI is the foundation for transforming business itself, and we are moving forward with AI-native transformation across the company,” said Yasuke Sogo, CEO of AnyMind Group.

He said Hangzhou is one of the cities with a growing global presence in the field of AI applications and agents, with advanced AI talent and development communities coming together to form an ecosystem that enables rapid deployment of cutting-edge technologies into services.

“AnyMind Group’s strength lies in its business infrastructure and data across 15 markets in Asia.

“Through AnyAI Lab, we will combine data from markets across Asia with Hangzhou’s AI development environment to further accelerate product development and business operations enhancement through AI agents,” he added.
