Hutchinson, Kan. – June 1, 2026 – Registration is now open for the Entrepreneurship Business Basics JUMP©+AI program (also known as EBB JUMP©+AI). The program is a 12-week course designed to help entrepreneurs and small business owners start, run, and grow with confidence.
The program will run from August 24th to November 16th and is sponsored by StartUp Hutch and Network Kansas. Registration is open until July 31st.
Led by facilitator Kira Cherry Cobb, EBB JUMP©+AI helps participants build a strong foundation in business fundamentals, connect with local resources, and take practical steps toward launching or strengthening their business. This year’s courses will also include guidance on how small business owners can leverage AI to save time, support marketing, improve operations, and make more informed decisions.
The program concludes with a pitch contest. Participants will apply what they’ve learned and compete for a $1,000 cash prize to advance their businesses.
“EBB JUMP©+AI provides entrepreneurs with a supportive place to learn, test their ideas, build confidence and connect with others who want to see them succeed,” said Graham Klemme, Executive Director of StartUp Hutch. “We’re excited to bring this program back and provide participants with practical tools they can use right away, including new ways to think about AI in small and medium-sized businesses.”
This course will be held in a hybrid format on Monday nights from 6pm to 8pm, with some sessions held in-person and remaining sessions held online. In-person sessions include an opening session, the Kansas State Fair Business Tour on September 14, a graduation ceremony, and a final pitch competition.
The course costs $700, but thanks to support from our program sponsors, the registration fee is $100. The $50 deposit will be refunded after successful completion of the program. Limited scholarships are available.
Registration is open until July 31st. www.ebbkc.com/register
