According to an announcement by COSCOM on June 1st, the Financial Business Division held an event called “AI Insight Day” on May 29th. Approximately 100 executives and employees participated in the seminar, which focused on practical examples of AI utilization that can be incorporated into actual work.
The first session introduced practical use cases and future implementation strategies for AI in financial IT development operations. The presentation shared examples of applying AI to key business areas such as the AI Work Portal, Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading FEP, and Specialized Protocol Management Programs, and also outlined a roadmap for future AI adoption and implementation.
In the presentation on the use of AI workspaces, we focused on examples of automating business processes using generative AI tools, and introduced examples that can be applied immediately, such as connecting to external knowledge sources and automatically generating proposals. Furthermore, Coscom introduced the business support environment and web interface configuration that utilizes AI developed in-house.
In the final session, the department in charge of company-wide AI transformation (AX) efforts presented the current status and plans for utilizing AI within the company. The team shared plans to launch a company-wide AI subscription service, highlighting the need to expand the AI base and drive workplace innovation within the organization.
Going forward, COSCOM plans to continue discovering excellent examples of AI usage across business divisions and expanding visible business improvements, such as automating repetitive tasks, accumulating business knowledge, streamlining document creation, and improving development productivity.
