Mumbai. Popular Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit has become the victim of a misuse of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, or ‘deepfake’. Recently, a video claiming to be of Madhuri Dixit has gone viral on social media in which she is seen wearing a skimpy black outfit.
After the video was released, many users started making various negative comments about her outfit and outfit. However, it turns out that the video is completely fake. Indian journalist Jaydeep Pandey clarified on social media that the video was a fake video created using AI.

Recently, many celebrities in the art field have become victims of AI-generated fake content. Earlier, actresses Rashmika Mandana, Katrina Kaif and Kirti Suresh were also victims of similar deepfake videos. Just recently, South Indian film actress Rukmini Vasanth expressed anger after fake AI-generated photos and videos were spread in her name.
Prior to this, when a deepfake video of southern actress Rashmika Mandana was released in November 2023, it started a huge debate around the world about the misuse of this technology. In the video, Rashmika was seen entering the elevator wearing black clothes.
During the investigation, it was determined that the original video belonged to Zara Patel, a British-Indian social media influencer. Using AI deepfake technology, Zara’s face was removed and Rashmika’s was added.
