Global group fitness brand partners with Hyperhuman to bring its signature classes into the AI ​​era, enabling scalable, personalized workout content without the need for traditional production.

Les Mills really tackled the deep end of artificial intelligence with Hyperhuman.

The partnership will enable the global group fitness brand to offer a selection of signature classes through Hyperhuman’s AI-powered content generation platform. This means the Hyperhuman team will be able to license and use certain premium Les Mills classes in their workouts and programs without having to film, edit, or create an entirely new content infrastructure.

Hyperhuman’s AI-powered technology, drawn from an integrated content library of stock clips, premium videos, instructor-led classes, and AI-generated clips, enables fitness brands to:

  • Generate workouts with AI
  • Deliver content through apps, web experiences, embeds, or APIs
  • Power personalized recommendations
  • Build social-enabled assets
  • Add motion recognition coaching within your brand’s mobile app.

Les Mills joins Hyperhuman’s ecosystem of Fitterstock and Sweatlife Films in creating AI-generated fitness content with a library spanning professionally shot exercise clips, multi-angle movement demonstrations, low-impact classes like yoga and Pilates, instructor-led premium classes, and Les Mills-specific classes like Body Pump, Body Combat, and Grit.

Hyperhuman allows teams to build on-demand workout libraries, personalized workout plans, and multi-week programs while customizing duration, equipment, and intensity to deliver content tailored to audience goals.

Digital content brands like Les Mills aren’t the only ones embracing the AI ​​fitness revolution. This technology is increasingly making its way into brick-and-mortar facilities.

Both New York Sports Club (NYSC) and Versa Fitness recently announced that they will provide members with access to an AI-powered personal training app that also incorporates body composition scans and movement analysis.

However, the two operators took different approaches. Vasa takes a people-first approach and requires members to complete an in-person consultation beforehand. Meanwhile, NYSC’s app, launched in partnership with Zing Coach, allows members to chat directly with AI coaches.
