Applied Machine Learning Intern Main Responsibilities
Interns will contribute to multiple AI and machine learning initiatives focused on real-world implementation and research translation.
Key responsibilities include:

- Build reusable machine learning model templates
- Working with public and private datasets
- Supports training, testing, and deployment of AI models
- Contributing to open source AI software projects

Eligibility requirements
Applicants must:
- Self-identify as a Black or Indigenous student, postdoctoral fellow, or recent graduate
- Studying at or recently graduated from a Canadian university or college
- Be a 2nd year student or above, or within 1 semester of graduation
Required technical skills
Candidates must demonstrate:
- Knowledge of machine learning and statistics
- Python programming experience
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in AI systems and applied research
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Those with technical experience welcome
