Willow and Carahsoft Technology Corporation, experts in operational artificial intelligence (AI) for the built world, have announced a partnership to provide an operational AI platform to the public sector.
Under the agreement, Carahsoft will serve as Willow’s public sector reseller, making the company’s operational AI platform available to government facilities and infrastructure.
Single operational view
Willow’s operational AI platform aims to unify all systems in a facility into a single operational view, from HVAC to electrical, controls, water, and maintenance records. This is powered by what Willow describes as one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive ontologies for the built environment.
According to Willow, the platform enables operations teams to predict and prevent failures, automate building control and maintenance tasks based on real-world conditions, and execute complex operational workflows without human intervention through Willow’s agent AI capabilities.
“This platform uses AI to provide actionable intelligence, enable informed decision-making, and help avoid system failures.”
“Our partnership with Carahsoft gives government agencies direct access to operational AI built for the scale and complexity of public sector infrastructure,” said Willow CEO Bert Van Hoof.
“For decades, facilities have operated in a reactive manner: something breaks, someone notices, and technicians respond. Willow changes that model by giving teams a unified view of all assets with predictive intelligence and autonomous actions that can reduce operational costs, avoid costly disruptions, and protect against safety, compliance, resiliency, and operational risk.”
Van Hoof added, “Through Carahsoft’s network, agencies can deploy these capabilities faster than ever before, operate their facilities with greater intelligence, confidence and control, and redirect cost savings back to their missions.”
