Lytx used its annual Protect Conference to reinforce its clear direction for fleet technology. There will be greater integration, fewer system disconnections, and AI that actually helps fleets act on data.
At the heart of the announcement is LytxOne, a newly introduced platform to simplify operations by integrating video safety, telematics, maintenance, compliance, and asset tracking into a single system.
“LytxOne is a purpose-built platform designed from the ground up,” said Chris Cabrera, CEO of Lytx. “We created an integrated architecture where video safety, telematics, maintenance, compliance, and asset tracking work together seamlessly.”
The platform is currently available through direct and reseller channels, with additional integrations such as Lytx’s driver safety program expected later this year.
A growing all-in-one platform
LytxOne joins Lytx+, which launched in 2025 as part of the company’s broader push into an all-in-one fleet management solution. Both platforms are built around integrating video safety and telematics into one environment, reducing the need for multiple systems and vendors.
The company also announced a partnership with Platform Science to integrate Lytx’s video technology into its virtual vehicle ecosystem to further connect drivers, data, and devices within corporate vehicles.
Supporting both platforms is Lytx AI Assistant, currently in beta. It is designed to turn safety, maintenance, and compliance data into real-time actionable insights without requiring users to manually search for reports.
AI-powered visibility extends beyond the vehicle
Lytx is also expanding its visualization tools with new hardware, including auxiliary cameras, and aims to support up to eight high-resolution views around the vehicle. These include side, rear, cargo, and blind spot perspectives, all powered by AI to detect and respond to safety events.
The 360 hub kit is expected to be available in Q3 2026.
Looking to the future, Lytx plans to extend its platform beyond vehicles by supporting fixed field cameras in yards, job sites, and facilities. This feature is targeted for early 2027 and aims to enable vehicles to have an integrated view of both mobile and fixed assets.
Integrated asset tracking adds operational insight
In addition to platform and visibility updates, Lytx has introduced a portfolio of asset tracking solutions for a wide range of equipment, including trailers, containers, forklifts, and loaders.
The system includes both battery-powered and vehicle-powered trackers, providing real-time location data and usage insights that feed directly into the platform’s dashboard.
“At Lytx, we are redefining fleet management by integrating advanced AI and an all-in-one architecture to provide unparalleled clarity, control, and operational insight,” said Cabrera. “Our purpose-built solutions enable fleets of all sizes to simplify complexity, anticipate risk, and connect employees and assets like never before.”
With additional releases planned throughout 2026, Lytx’s latest announcement reflects its continued focus on bringing fleet data, safety, and operations into a single, connected experience.
