Foley small business owners will have the opportunity to explore practical uses for artificial intelligence at an upcoming workshop aimed at simplifying and making technology more accessible.
Foley Main Street will be hosting a hands-on session entitled “AI for Business” on Tuesday, May 5th at Riviera Utilities. The evening workshop will be held from 5pm to 7:30pm and aims to help local businesses understand how AI tools can save them time and help them grow.
This session will be led by Lindsay Schumacher, president of L. Schumacher Consulting, a marketing firm serving businesses throughout the Gulf Coast. Mr. Schumacher works extensively with businesses to build their digital presence and will introduce attendees to basic AI tools such as ChatGPT.
Participants will learn how to create effective prompts to generate content for social media, websites, and search engine optimization, with a focus on improving efficiency and communication. This workshop is designed to be beginner-friendly and provides practical strategies that business owners can implement right away.
A light dinner will be served during the event.
Registration as a Foley Main Street supporter is free. The cost is $15 for businesses located downtown in the Foley District that are not currently patrons and $25 for businesses outside the downtown district that are not patrons. Seats are limited, so early application is recommended.
