Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend) has expanded its portfolio of embedded camera modules to now support GMSL2, MIPI CSI-2, and USB interfaces. This expansion will enable designers to accelerate the adoption of AI vision capabilities across a variety of AIoT applications, including smart manufacturing, smart transportation, robotics, smart healthcare, smart retail, and surveillance.

Transcend’s camera modules deliver high-resolution imaging, superior low-light performance, high frame rates, high dynamic range (HDR), and flexible interface integration. This module is compatible with major AI platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano/NX, AGX Orin, and Raspberry Pi 5.

Advanced imaging solutions:

  • The ECM300M22 and ECM300G2F introduce enhanced STARVIS 2 imaging technology, delivering 5MP high-resolution output and exceptional low-light sensitivity for smart surveillance, industrial inspection, and precision machine vision applications.

Rapid integration solution:

  • ECM310U2M and ECM100U2C feature a USB interface with true plug-and-play functionality, streamlining the integration of AI development platforms and rapid prototyping environments and accelerating development cycles.

Value-optimized solution:

  • Based on the MIPI CSI-2 interface, the ECM100M22 offers a balanced combination of low power consumption and stable performance for large-scale embedded deployments.

These solutions are designed to integrate seamlessly into intelligent systems such as automated optical inspection (AOI), people flow analysis, general medical equipment, continuous monitoring, and ADAS.
