‘We will not participate’: Iran uses AI Lego video to mock Australia with Hormuz propaganda

AI Video & Visuals

Australia’s decision not to join the US-led naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz has come under the spotlight after an Iranian propaganda video featuring Lego-style animations went viral.

The clip, produced by Iran-related news outlet Explosive News, has garnered significant attention online, racking up millions of views across social media platforms in recent days.

In the latest installment, an animated Lego character appears in front of an Australian flag with a document reading “We’re not joining” and a narrator declares: “The gavel is falling, the world is learning.”

The video is part of a broader series that combines satire, propaganda, and AI-generated content to mock Donald Trump and US military operations in the region.

According to the BBC, a representative involved with the content admitted that Tehran authorities were a “customer” of the production group, despite previously claiming independence.

The clip is set to a song, also believed to be AI-generated, and its lyrics include references to global political tensions, including “bivi on trial” and references to China’s growing influence.
