Is the video of Jeffrey Epstein kissing a young woman real? No, it’s not. A detection tool flagged the video as potentially AI-generated. The video shows some AI glitches.

This claim appeared in a video posted to X on April 8, 2026 by the account @Unfiltered_Q (archived here). Opened:

On April 9, 2026, the Hive Moderation AI-Generated Content Detection Tool concluded that the video was 93.1% “likely to have been generated by AI.”

Visual clues indicate that the video was generated by AI, highlighted in the screenshot below. In addition to the obvious low quality, the obvious problem with this video is that the date and time stamps within the video are distorted (red circles added by the lead story), as these screenshots show.

If the Justice Department had released a video from Epstein’s files showing him kissing and holding the hand of a young woman, it would have been reported by legitimate news sources. Lead Stories searched Google News (archived here) and Yahoo! No results were found for News (archived here). A reverse image search of the video’s screenshots using Google Images and TinEye (archived here) returned other social media posts, but provided no reliable evidence that the events depicted in the video actually occurred.
