A video has gone viral in which a woman falls into a lion’s enclosure at a zoo in Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur, leaving shocked onlookers as the animals smell her and leave.

- A keyword search using the terms ‘Jamshedpur’, ‘zoo’, ‘woman’ and ‘lion’ did not yield any reliable reports corroborating the alleged incident.
- If you look closely at the video, the woman’s toes appear visually inconsistent and unnatural.
- Analysis of the entire video using Hive Moderation showed that there was a 99.9% chance that the content was AI-generated or a deepfake.
- The entire video was also tested by Undetectable AI and flagged as potentially AI-generated as well.
- Each frame extracted from the video was tested individually in Sightengine and the AI-generated image was detected with high probability.
- Additional frame analysis using WasItAI and IsItAI also indicated that the visuals were likely synthetically generated.
Therefore, this viral video is not a depiction of real events at the Jamshedpur zoo, but was generated by AI.
