IIT Delhi launches 8th batch of advanced AI, ML, DL online program: Check eligibility and application details

IIT Delhi’s Continuing Education Program (CEP) has announced the commencement of the 8th batch of advanced certificate programs in AI, ML and DL. Formerly known as the Machine Learning and Deep Learning Certification Program, this course is designed for graduates and postgraduates who want to gain expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning technologies without prior experience.Scheduled to begin on July 26, 2026 and end on January 22, 2027, the program will be offered in eVIDYA online format, allowing learners across India and abroad to participate from the comfort of their homes. We are currently accepting admissions. The program fee is ₹1,95,000 plus 18% GST. The course is structured to provide 80 hours of live online learning, complemented by assignments, quizzes, capstone projects, and an optional one-day intensive campus visit at IIT Delhi.

IIT Delhi CEP Comprehensive Curriculum

This program covers the basics to advanced concepts of AI, ML, and DL. Start with Python programming, data analysis, and applied mathematics to build a strong foundation. Learners then progress to core machine learning and deep learning modules, including neural networks, deep learning architectures, and AI applications. There is a particular focus on real-world applications, and participants will use tools such as Python, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn, Visual ML Lab, and Visual DL Lab. The curriculum also includes exclusive sessions on RAG and Agentic AI, giving learners exposure to cutting-edge AI developments.

Hands-on learning and capstone projects

One of the highlights of the program is the Bring Your Own Project (BYOP) capstone, where learners apply concepts learned throughout the course to implement practical AI/ML solutions. Assignments, quizzes, and case studies further enhance practical understanding, while live online sessions enable interaction with IIT faculty and industry experts.
