IIT Kanpur Typically, we accept admission based on grades and other criteria, but for AI and ML courses, you don’t necessarily need to be an expert to gain admission into these courses. Candidates with the following background: B.Tech/ Get used to it Students, B.A./BBA/BCA students, M.Tech/M.Tech/MSc students, M.Sc./MBA/MCA students, academics pursuing PhD studies, meritorious Class XI/XII students, faculty from Engineering/Science/Management faculties, professionals from industries and R&D organizations can apply for the course with a minimum of 50% marks.
2. Candidates should have basic knowledge of mathematics and basic programming concepts.
