INDIANAPOLIS — 15,646 certified commercial vehicle industry professionals from 29 countries and all 50 U.S. states gathered at Work Truck Week 2026 to explore the latest and next developments in the world of work trucks. They witnessed major product launches, stayed on top of trends, learned techniques to improve their operations, drove new commercial vehicles, reunited with old friends, and made new connections. Work Truck Week 2026 was held March 10-13 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
More than just a trade show, Work Truck Week includes the Work Truck Show, Green Truck Summit, NTEA Annual Meeting, Work Truck Week Ride & Drive, extensive educational programs, and more. Work Truck Week is organized by NTEA (Work Truck Association).

Looking to the future
GM Envolve Vice President Ian Hacker gave a keynote speech on the continued evolution of multi-stage commercial vehicles at the Green Truck Summit, a commercial vehicle technology conference that kicked off Work Truck Week on March 10. The Green Track Summit itself is also evolving. In her opening remarks, Emily Cornes, NTEA Board Member, NTEA Education Committee Chair, and President of J&J Truck Body and Trailers, announced that the Green Truck Summit will: future truck summit NTEA is collaborating with the NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA) to develop an expanded curriculum focused on the rapidly evolving fuel, software, hardware, and onboard technologies that drive improvements in commercial vehicle efficiency, safety, and durability.
“This evolution reflects our broader, forward-looking mission,” Cornes said. “The commercial vehicle industry is at a pivotal time. Vehicle technology is advancing rapidly and customer expectations are rising. Regulatory and market pressures are accelerating change. Events like this one bring together the leaders, engineers, vehicle experts and innovators who are navigating that transformation and defining what comes next.”

At the Work Truck Week Ride and Drive on March 11 and 12, many Work Truck Week participants drove commercial vehicles equipped with the latest technology, fuels, sustainability products, and propulsion systems. This unique event is a quick and easy way to learn about and experience the latest technology available in new commercial vehicles. Ride & Drive brings together subject matter experts, vehicles, and technologies from 15 companies. Participants can choose to drive or ride in 15 vehicles, including all-electric vans, trucks, chassis, and internal combustion vehicles equipped with technology designed to improve fuel utilization and reduce greenhouse gases and particulate matter.

The Work Truck Week education program included a variety of sessions aimed at equipping participants with strategies to enhance their current and future operations. Sessions covered important topics such as evolving industry trends, vehicle engineering and compliance, government regulations, workforce development, fleet management, powertrain innovation, and improving solutions.
