Artificial intelligence is quietly reshaping restaurant operations, but not necessarily in the way customers expect.

Taffer explained that staffing issues are forcing operators to look for new efficiencies.
“We are having a hard time finding talent. The male workforce is decreasing in America…so it’s hard to find employees…AI is a great way to streamline and streamline operations,” he said.

Taffer emphasized that human interaction remains at the heart of the dining experience, rather than having machines between customers and staff.
“I don’t put AI in front of my house. I don’t want it interacting with machines. I want it interacting with people. I think connectivity is very important,” he said.

He said the economic issue is simple.
