Jim Cramer’s CNBC Investment Club hosts a “Morning Meeting” livestream weekdays at 10:20 a.m. ET. A recap of Thursday’s key moments. 1. The S&P 500 fell on Thursday amid rising tensions between the US and Iran. Amid growing geopolitical uncertainty, Jim Cramer said Thursday’s stock market weakness could be a sign that some traders may want to reduce their stock exposure heading into the weekend. Concerns about possible supply disruptions from OPEC member Iran have also sent oil prices soaring. CrowdStrike was among the club stocks that bucked the broader market, rising about 1%. But it’s still down about 10% year-to-date, and Jim said he believes security risks from the growing adoption of AI are a major factor in CrowdStrike’s business disruption attacks. “This is the first thing I buy,” Jim said. “This is something to buy because the business is getting stronger.” [agentic AI]2. The club that owns Texas Roadhouse is scheduled to report quarterly earnings after the bell. Although he expects the steakhouse chain’s same-store sales to be strong, Jim is concerned about lower profit margins due to beef inflation. Management has already guided for 2026 commodity inflation at 7%. Still, if this number rises, it could spell bad news for portfolio stocks. The club cut Texas Roadhouse’s positions in half on Wednesday ahead of financial results. This was the third sale. 2026. 3. A large order for Boeing’s jets prevented the stock from rising any further despite news that the company had signed a deal to sell about 100 planes to a Vietnam-based airline, but Jim said he was “steadfast” on the company’s turnaround plan with CEO Kelly Ortberg. Walmart, DoorDash, Carvana, Molson Coors and Dell were featured at the end of Thursday’s video (see here for a complete list of Jim Cramer Charitable Trust stocks).
