xAI has released Grok Imagine 1.0, a major update to its AI video generation platform. The company says this new release improves video quality, cost efficiency, and latency while accelerating workflow iterations for creatives and developers. xAI also said that Grok Imagine has generated 1.245 billion videos in the past 30 days.

Grok Imagine 1.0 supports up to 10 seconds of video generation at 720p resolution, along with improved audio output. This model enables video creation from text prompts or still images, and provides enhanced motion processing, object interaction, and visual continuity between scenes.
Grok Imagine API
In parallel with the model announcement, xAI rolled out the Grok Imagine API, an integrated set of APIs designed for end-to-end creative workflows. This API combines video and audio generation with video editing capabilities, allowing users to generate new content or adjust existing sequences within a single workflow.
The API supports creating from text prompts, image input, or refining complex cinematic sequences.
