At the time, the host asked about her role as a pregnant nun in the 2024 film Immaculate, and said she had read a review that said Sweeney was “always wearing a wet white shirt, which is ridiculous.”

Sweeney responded, “I’ve been working on this since ‘Euphoria,’ so I’m kind of used to it at this point.”

“Yeah, I think Cassie was just a great pop culture character, with ‘Euphoria’ and the zeitgeist of that generation,” she said. “Honestly, it was the first big thing that people saw me in. I think it’s hard for people to separate an actor from the role, especially a character like that.”
