Which is better to buy: Nancy, Palantir, Tesla? Or should you include both of these names in your portfolio since they are both strong AI plays?

So, if we had to give an opinion, Tesla is probably our favorite and that's why Tesla comes in at 6-26. Tesla is a leader in transformative AI. Well, it's not just full self-driving, it's robotics, and even looking at the X in the XAI investment that the company is making with shareholder approval. We think all of this is very strong, and we'd love to take a bite of the space business when it comes to IPO. So this is clearly a company with a different vision than other companies that we own, and I think the CEO does as well.

How much of a factor will Elon's $1 trillion salary package be for Tesla? I mean, how do you score it? Because it can be very motivating, even for the richest person in the world.

Well, I think he's intrinsically motivated. If you read Walter Isaacson's biography, he said, um, Elon said, “I'm programmed for war.” And that's when he shows his true potential. He often teeters on the brink of disaster, backs out at the last minute, and then delivers on promises that many thought were ridiculous. And sometimes they don't happen in a timely manner. But when you look at the persona he envisions, it's clear it's more than just EV. I mean, the car numbers are disappointing, but think about Tesla's EV business and the AI part of that business, and Apple's phone business for services in the ecosystem. As you know, Apple has been underperforming for many years in terms of growth in its mobile phone business, but its services business has been growing rapidly and will continue to grow. So we think of him as a story. He provided the company with an outrageous level of incentives, and now he's actually getting paid for it. I think for him it's not about money, it's about control.
